A client had an issue getting some vital information out of sage. To solve this, we built a custom report within sage and inserted it into a user-friendly spreadsheet for easy data manipulation.
We are delighted to report that Mint Consult has recently appointed James Carter as a Junior Consultant, following his successful intern placement through the University of East Anglia’s Project Evolve scheme.
James has spent the last 12 weeks working with Mint, assisting with the development of the Insight service and being involved with the company’s marketing and networking activities, together with specific client assignment.
James will continue to work from the new Norwich city centre office in Mountergate and will be involved in all aspects of the business.
James joins following his Masters in Business Management and obtaining his degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of East Anglia. James brings with him excellent analytical and computing skills together with a flair for business. James commented “I am excited about this opportunity and the potential which Mint is able offer”.
James will be involved in all aspects of the business, focussing on developing an understanding of the benefits which Mint Consult can deliver to businesses in East Anglia.
Mint Consult arrives in Norwich, with our new home being at St Faiths House, Mountergate, Norwich.
We are located just a 5 minute walk from the train station and within easy walking distance of the city centre. The new office location will allow Mint to work more closely with our clients, improve our service offering through growing the team and crucially provide the Company with its first dedicated office space.

Happy Birthday Mint! To celebrate Mint Consult’s first birthday, a series of Charity Cake Sales were organised with the help of clients and friends.
Organised as part of the Towergate Accumulator challenge, I am pleased to report that Mint Consult donated a total of £355.50 to St Nicholas Hospice
in Bury St Edmunds.
Mint Consult matched pound for pound the contributions and is delighted to be supporting this local charity.

A new training course has been designed to assist Managers in industry understand the basics of finance. Too often Managers are provided with printed reports each week or month, however they do not neccesarily understand the relevance or indeed the areas on which to focus.
The course covers areas such as basic terminology used in Finance, Ratio analysis, Budgets and most importantly Key Performance Indicators. The course is FULLY TAILORED to your business, and managers are asked in advance for details of reports which they regularly use (or not as the case may be) and requested to fill in a brief questionnaire before the session.
